This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) physical and digital assets as their official sponsors and partners for the 2024 season.
The Rajasthan Royals roped in Gurgaon-based energy solutions provider Luminous Power as their Title Sponsor for another two editions ahead of the 2023 IPL season.
As per the deal, the Luminous Power logo features on the front of the Royals playing and training shirts.
The Luminous deal can reportedly be worth up to ?40 crore, having fetched the team ?15 crore during IPL 2023.
Ahead of the 2023 IPL season, Mumbai-based tire manufacturer BKT (Balkrishna Industries Limited) signed sponsorship deals with seven teams in March 2023 to become their Official Tire Partner.
For the RR, BKT also acts as a Principal Sponsor, with its logo featuring on the back of the team’s matchday shirt.
NEOM, a futuristic planned megacity being built in northern Saudi Arabia, announced in March 2024 that it had been appointed as a principal partner of the Rajasthan Royals.
As per the agreement, the Royals sport NEOM branding on the chest of all their official team clothing. The partnership, currently set to run until IPL 2025, builds on the success of the project’s 2023 pilot programme, with this year’s initiative marking another step forward in NEOM’s commitment to nurturing a physically active and healthy society.
In July 2023, Red Bull became a principal partner of the Royals after announcing a “grassroots plans and innovation” partnership.
As part of the deal, the Royals have roped in mental conditioning coaches from Red Bull, while also using its grassroots cricketing ventures as a scouting hub.
Ahead of IPL 2024, the Rajasthan Royals inked a new sponsorship agreement with Reliance-owned Indian telecom giant Jio.
As part of the deal, Jio will continue acting as the principal partner of the Royals for the 2024 IPL season, with its logo featuring on the leading arm of the RR jersey.
Indian steel manufacturing firm Goel TMT renewed its partnership with the 2008 IPL champions in March 2023.
The current deal entails Goel TMT continuing on as an Associate Sponsor of the Royals until IPL 2025, with its branding featuring on both sides of the Royals playing trousers.
UBON, a Delhi-based electronics brand, announced a partnership agreement with the RR ahead of IPL 2023, joining their sponsorship portfolio as the Official Headgear and Audio Partner.
As per the agreement, UBON enjoys branding presence on the RR helmets and caps.
In February 2024, UBON announced a contract extension deal with the RR, also roping in their star wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel as a brand ambassador.
In February 2024, the Royals announced Jaipur-based Poornima University as their official university partner.
As per the deal, the university’s logo features on the RR caps and helmets. On-ground activations are also planned at the university’s campus in accordance with the agreement.
The Mumbai-headquartered Indian fantasy sports platform serves as the designated fantasy sports partner to seven teams in the tournament, excluding the Kolkata Knight Riders, the Royal Challengers Bangalore, and the Lucknow Super Giants.
In December 2023, the Royals announced a collaboration agreement with Curefoods (EatFit), an Indian house of F&B brands known for its healthy food offerings.
EatFit serves as an Official Partner to the Royals, with the strategic collaboration focused on fan and consumer engagement during the 2024 IPL season.
In March 2024, Schneider Electric, a French multinational company that specialises in digital automation and energy management, renewed its partnership with the Rajasthan Royals, thus remaining their “Official Sustainability Partner” for a third year running.
The partnership aims to promote sustainability in cricket and encourage fans to take climate action. Schneider Electric’s #GreenYodha initiative focuses on driving climate action.
In April 2024, amidst the 2024 Indian Premier League season, Indian multinational beverage and bottled water company Bisleri signed a partnership agreement with five IPL teams, including the Rajasthan Royals, to become their official hydration partner for the season.
In March 2024, Swiss watchmaker Movado signed a partnership deal with the Royals to become their official time partner for IPL 2024.
With this association, Movado aims to make deeper inroads in the country’s luxury market, banking on the popularity of the world’s biggest cricket league to enhance its customer base across India.
In April 2024, EaseMyTrip, a Delhi-based Indian online travel company, became the Official Travel and Experience Partner of the Rajasthan Royals for IPL 2024.
In March 2024, the Rajasthan Royals announced a partnership agreement with All Seasons, a packaged drinking water brand.
As per the deal, All Seasons acts as the official cheer squad partner of the Royals.
After serving as an official partner to five IPL teams in 2023, Indian craft beer and lifestyle brand Bira91 returned to the competition this season as an official partner of the Rajasthan Royals.
Ahead of IPL 2024, Big Ant Studios, a Melbourne-based Australian video game developer, was roped in as an official partner by the Rajasthan Royals.
Smartphone brand HMD was announced as the official smartphone partner of the Rajasthan Royals during the 2024 IPL season.
