Sponsorship Deals of Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors, an American professional basketball team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league’s Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. According to Forbes 2020, the team is the tenth-most valuable franchises in the NBA, having an estimated $2.1 billion value.

Let us look at the team’s sponsors.

Air Canada – Air Canada is the official airline partner of the Raptors since 2018. The airline company was the naming rights partner of the team from 1999 to 2018.

Molson Coors Brewing – Molson Coors Brewing’s Coors Light is the Raptors’ official beer partner. 

Sun Life Financial – Sun Life Financial became the Raptors’ first jersey patch partner in 2017.

McDonald’s – McDonald’s Canada is the official partner of the Toronto Raptors. The team signed a multi-year, multifaceted partnership in 2018. 

Coca-Cola – Coca-Cola is the sponsor of the Toronto Raptors since the team was formed in 1995. 

Scotiabank – Scotiabank is the naming rights partner of the Raptors since 2019. Scotiabank Arena is the home to the team.  The bank’s subsidiary, Tangerine, is the official bank of the NBA franchise.

LG Electronics – LG Electronics Canada is the exclusive consumer electronics partner of the Toronto Raptors.

Google – Google Home is the official smart speaker of the Toronto Raptors.

MasterCard – MasterCard is the official partner of the Toronto Raptors. 

Ford – Ford is a founding sponsor of the Toronto Raptors, with the partnership spanning more than two decades.

BCE – Bell, a Canadian communications company and a subsidiary of BCE Inc., is the official partner of the Raptors.

Invisalign – Align Technology’s Invisalign Brand is the official smile partner of the Toronto Raptors since 2019.

Leon’s Furniture – Leon’s Furniture Ltd. partnered with the Toronto Raptors in 2019 to become the team’s official furniture and mattress retailer.

CDW – CDW Canada, a leading provider of technology solutions, signed a multi-year partnership with the Toronto Raptors in 2019 to become an official partner of the team and the Scotiabank Arena.

OVO – Toronto Raptors signed a naming rights deal with OVO, the record label founded by Canadian rapper Drake in 2019. As part of the deal, the Raptors’ training center became the OVO Athletic Centre. Drake has been a global ambassador of the team for almost seven years.

TSN, Sportsnet – TSN, Sportsnet is the official television partner of the Toronto Raptors.

Sportsnet 590 The FAN and TSN 1050 Toronto are the official radio partners of the Toronto Raptors.

In the past, the Toronto Raptors was also associated with Horizon ETFs, BMO Financial Group, and Aviva.

Some of the Raptors’ community partnerships include The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto Paramedic Services, Toronto Police Service, Toronto Fire Service, NBA Cares, Ontario Basketball, Canada Basketball, and You Can Play.
