Sunderland AFC join hands with P1 Travel and XS2Event

Sunderland Association Football Club have announced a multi-year partnership with ticketing companies P1 Travel and XS2Event.

The partnership will see the two work with the club to provide fans with official match break packages, while also collaborating with them on matchday experiences at Sunderland’s home ground, the Stadium of Light.

The packages provided through the partnership will include not only match tickets but also additional hospitality, attraction, and accommodation options. Both P1 Travel and XS2Event will serve as Sunderland AFC’s Match Break Partners.

Scott McCubbin, Chief Commercial Officer, Sunderland AFC, commented:

We’re pleased to welcome P1 Travel as a partner of Sunderland AFC, supported by XS2Event.

As interest in the Club continues to grow, both around the UK and internationally, it’s important that we create new ways for fans to get to know Sunderland and enjoy a fantastic matchday experience as part of their time in the region.

This partnership enables fans to access official sports break packages through trusted providers, giving them greater choice and a range of local activities, convenience and peace of mind when planning their visit to the Stadium of Light. This is all designed to spread the word and increase our reach – allowing more fans worldwide to experience what it means to be Sunderland.

We look forward to working closely with P1 Travel and XS2Event to create experiences for supporters from further afield throughout the season.

Rick van der Maas, Commercial Director, P1 Travel, added:

We’re proud to partner with Sunderland AFC and make it easier than ever for supporters from around the world to experience a match at the Stadium of Light. We’ve seen growing international demand for Sunderland matches, and we’re excited to combine official matchday experiences with everything the city and the wider region have to offer.
