Sunderland AFC renews Wolf Competitions deal

English football club Sunderland AFC has announced a new multi-year partnership renewal with Wolf Competitions, who will continue on as Sunderland’s Official Competitions Partner. The partnership renewal will see Wolf Competitions continue to have prominent branding at Sunderland’s home ground, the Stadium of Light through in-bowl advertising, pitchside assets and tunnel branding on matchdays. Both Sunderland AFC and Wolf Competitions will also continue to work on fan engagement activities and matchday activities including giveaways.

Scott McCubbin, Chief Commercial Officer at Sunderland AFC, commented,

“We’re delighted to renew our partnership with Wolf Competitions and welcome them back as our Official Competitions Partner. As a Northeast-based business that continues to grow its presence across the UK, Wolf Competitions is a great fit for Sunderland AFC. We look forward to working with Billy and the team over the coming seasons and providing our supporters with further opportunities to engage with the brand and enjoy some great prizes and experiences.”

Billy Bone, Marketing Director at Wolf Competitions, added,

“We’re really proud to be renewing our partnership with Sunderland AFC. Having been Sunderland season ticket holders since we were kids, this partnership has always meant a lot more to us than just a business sponsorship. Wolf has grown massively since we first partnered with the Club, but we’re still a North East business at heart, so to see the Wolf brand around the Stadium of Light and be part of the Club in this way is something we’re incredibly proud of. We want to keep giving supporters opportunities to win some brilliant prizes and experiences, while creating more ways for fans to get involved with Wolf on matchdays. We’ve got some huge plans for Wolf over the next few years, and we’re really excited to continue that journey alongside Sunderland AFC.”
