Tennis Australia has announced a multi-year extension of its long-standing partnership with Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited (ANZ).
The Melbourne-based banking and financial services company has taken up the role of the Official Bank of the Australian Open. The agreement will see the launch of ANZ Arena at the Melbourne & Olympic Park.
Additionally, ANZ will also serve as a Presenting Partner of the Brisbane International.
Craig Tiley, CEO of Tennis Australia, commented:
“ANZ has been a valued partner of Tennis Australia for more than 16 years, and this expanded, multi-year agreement reflects our shared commitment to delivering outstanding experiences for fans, players and the broader community. The unveiling of ANZ Arena is an exciting milestone. It’s a court that celebrates our game’s past while creating opportunities for the next generation, and we’re confident it will be the setting for many memorable Australian Open moments.”
Mark Whelan, ANZ’s Group Executive, Institutional, said:
“The Australian Open is one of Australia’s most iconic events, and ANZ Arena will deliver a world-class experience for fans and players alike. This partnership builds on our shared values and strengthens our connection to the communities we serve, including through our support of the Brisbane International.”
Dylan Alcott, an ANZ ambassador, added:
“Show Court 3 holds some of my most memorable moments, and seeing it become ANZ Arena is incredibly special. This court has always been about opportunity and inclusion, and it’s great to see it continue to play such an important role at the Australian Open.”
