The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has announced a new partnership agreement with online travel and accommodation platform Booking.com, which returns on the European football-governing body’s partnership portfolio and will be sponsoring next year’s European Football Championship, commonly known as UEFA Euro 2024.
Booking.com will also sponsor the 2025 UEFA Women’s Championship (UEFA Women’s Euro 2025), which will be held in Switzerland.
As per the new agreement, Booking.com will assist all the fans travelling across Europe during the aforementioned tournaments while also having digital and on-site branding through sole and exclusive programmes for all 51 UEFA Euro 2024 and 31 UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 matches.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, Marketing Director, UEFA, commented:
“We are thrilled to renew the partnership with Booking.com, a market leader in the travel industry, for UEFA Euro 2024 and UEFA Women’s Euro 2025. Building on the successes of the previous tournaments, UEFA and Booking.com remain dedicated to enhancing the fan’s journey. For all the fans travelling to attend the matches, Booking.com will offer a seamless travel and accommodation experience. Together, we unite the passion of football and the joy of travelling.“
Natalie Wills, VP Brand Marketing, Booking.com, added:
“We are delighted to again be partnering with the UEFA European Football Championships. We know at Booking.com that passions inspire travel, and with our mission to help everyone experience the world, going to see your team play is the perfect reason to visit new destinations and to try new experiences, all while being part of some iconic football moments. This opportunity also means that we can be part of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, supporting gender diversity and inclusivity in sport and travel.“
