UEFA partners with Vodafone

The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), the official governing body of football in Europe, has announced a multi-year partnership with Vodafone.

The British telecom operator has been confirmed as the official telecommunications partner of UEFA Women’s Football on a five-year deal. covering the following tournaments: the UEFA Women’s Champions League, UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO 2027, UEFA Women’s EURO 2029, the UEFA Women’s Nations League, the Women’s European Qualifiers, as well as the UEFA Women’s Under-17 and Under-19 Championships.

As far as men’s football is concerned, Vodafone has also been named an official licensed partner of the UEFA Champions League for its 2025/26 and 2026/27 editions. To kick off the partnership, Vodafone has launched the “Champions Travel eSIM”, which will offer customers connectivity in 206 countries, as well as “the opportunity to win free match tickets via periodic draws.”

Vodafone previously sponsored the UEFA Champions League from 2006 to 2009.
