MAIN SPONSOR

Polski Koncern Naftowy (PKN) Orlen

Gdansk-headquartered Grupa Lotos (The Lotos Group) had been serving as the Main Sponsor to the PZPN since February 2015.

Apart from branding rights, the sponsorship granted the oil company image rights to feature Polish national players in its promotional content.

In August 2022, Polish oil refiner and petrol retailer PKN Orlen announced a merger with Grupa Lotos, thereby taking on the Main Sponsorship role of the Polish Football Association.

In January 2023, PKN Orlen and the PZPN announced the signing of a four-year extension deal which would run until the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

OFFICIAL SPORTS EQUIPMENT SUPPLIER

Nike

The American sportswear giant served as the official kit supplier to the PZPN’s national teams from 1996 to 1998, after which it was replaced by rival German brand Adidas.

Stints with Puma (1999–2000), Tico (2000), and Puma again (2001–2009) followed before Nike re-signed with the PZPN in 2009. It has retained its role with the Polish Football Association ever since.

STRATEGIC SPONSOR

InPost

The Krakow-headquartered Polish logistics company was announced as the Strategic Sponsor of the PZPN in May 2022 on a two-year deal with option to extend it to two further years. It was reported to be the biggest-ever deal inked by a private Polish company in PZPN history.

The deal covers PZPN-affiliated men’s, women’s, and youth national teams. As part of the branding rights, the InPost logo features most prominently across the national teams’ training kits and team buses. The PZPN also employs InPost’s services to send tickets for Polish national team matches.

OFFICIAL SPONSORS

Biedronka

The Kostrzyn-headquartered Polish supermarket chain has served as an Official Sponsor to the PZPN since 2010.

The two parties last renewed their deal in April 2018, which was initially set to run by the end of 2022. However, despite no announcement of an extension deal, Biedronka continues to sponsor the PZPN heading into the 2024 Euros.

Leroy Merlin

The Lezennes-headquartered French home improvement and gardening retailer has served as an Official Sponsor to the PZPN since August 2016.

Apart from branding rights, the sponsorship grants Leroy Merlin image rights to players and staff representing the PZPN’s national teams to feature in its promotional content.

The two parties last extended their deal in August 2017.

In March 2022, controversy arose around Leroy Merlin once it was found out that, despite Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the company hadn’t stopped operating in the Russian market. The PZPN and players of the Poland men’s national team were asked questions regarding the Leroy Merlin sponsorship, to which they stated that they vehemently opposed the idea of cooperating with Russia and that the PZPN’s communication had always been with the Polish division of the company and not its French headquarters, with Leroy Merlin Poland having provided substantial support to Poland’s aid towards Ukraine and its people. Despite this, Leroy Merlin remains a PZPN sponsor.

Tarczynski-Gruppe

The Ujezdziec Maly-based Polish meat products company was announced as an Official Sponsor of the Poland men’s national team in October 2022 on an initial two-year deal.

The partnership entails Tarczynski products carrying Poland national team branding, with the products—having received the title “Official Snack of Poland’s National Football Team”—also made available “in the key communication channels of the Polish Representation”.

Tarczynski also serves as the title sponsor to the PZPN’s Gramy dla Polski (“We Play for Poland”) programme, which is aimed at scouting young talent for the Poland youth national football setup.

STS

The Polish betting company has served as an official sponsor to the Poland men’s national football team since July 2014.

The two parties last renewed their deal in August 2018, which was set to run until the end of 2022. However, at the time of writing, STS continues to sponsor the Polish national team.
