Argentine Football Association (AFA) announces Adidas extension

The Argentine Football Association (AFA) has announced a long-term partnership extension agreement with Adidas, which will thus continue on as the kit supplier of its national teams until 2038.

Adidas will continue to provide kits to the Argentina men’s, women’s, and youth national teams, having done so since 2001. The new partnership renewal will cover the men’s FIFA World Cups of 2026, 2030, 2034, and 2038.

Speaking about the renewal with Adidas, Claudio Tapia, AFA President, said,

We are delighted to forge a new partnership with Adidas until 2038. Our partnership spans several decades and this new long-term commitment allows us, as an organisation, to drive the success of our national teams and invest in our communities. We are proud of the recent successes we have shared, but will continue to focus on growing our game and on-pitch performance… in this respect, and many more, Adidas is the perfect partner for us.

Bjoern Gulden, Adidas CEO, added:

The AFA, the reigning FIFA Men’s World Cup Champion, is one of the most successful federations in history. We have celebrated many successes together and are very proud to announce that “We will continue our collaboration, at least, until 2038. It is a perfect alliance!
