AFC Asia Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 finds new partner in Alrajhi Bank

The Asian Football Confederation has announced a partnership with Riyadh-based Alrajhi Bank, roping it in as an Official Regional Partner of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup, scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia.

The partnership, set to run until March 31, 2027, will see Alrajhi Bank work towards bringing fans closer to the tournament through fan engagement activities, while also collaborating with the global payment solutions provider Visa on a host of fan activations across Saudi Arabia, which will include a player escort programme.

Alrajhi Bank also worked with the Asian football-governing body during the 2026 AFC U23 Asia Cup, also held in Saudi Arabia.

The 2027 AFC Asian Cup will be the 19th edition of the AFC Asian Cup and is scheduled to take place between January 7 and February 5, 2027, across three cities in Saudi Arabia — Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar.

Datuk Seri Windsor John, AFC General Secretary, commented:

The AFC is delighted to welcome Alrajhi Bank as an Official Regional Partner for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027. As we prepare to bring Asia’s crown jewel to the Kingdom for the first time, collaborating with a leading national institution like Alrajhi Bank is essential to delivering a tournament like no other. We look forward to working in close cooperation with them to bring our shared ambitions to life and ensuring this historic edition leaves a lasting legacy for our passionate fanbase.

Patrick Murphy, Chief Executive Officer of Asia Football Group, added:

Our goal is to make the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 the most accessible and engaging edition in history. Alrajhi Bank’s incredible reach and community presence are vital to this mission, helping us bring the excitement of the game directly to the people and creating a truly inclusive celebration of Asian football.

Majed Al Rajhi, General Manager of Retail Banking at Alrajhi Bank, said:

This partnership reflects Alrajhi Bank’s commitment to delivering value beyond traditional banking services. The AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 provides a unique platform to create meaningful experiences that deepen customer engagement and strengthen their connection with one of the region’s most significant sporting events.
