AFC Bournemouth extends ESET partnership

AFC Bournemouth have announced a two-year extension of their partnership with internet security company, ESET. The deal will see ESET continue on as AFC Bournemouth’s Official Cybersecurity Partner, a deal which kicked off back during the 2019/20 season. ESET will continue to work in the Safer Kids Online programme and also support the club’s matchday social content which includes goal GIFs, post-match manager interviews and sponsoring matchday streams for non-first-team fixtures played at Bournemouth’s home stadium, Vitality Stadium.

ESET will also continue on in their role of an Official Partner of the AFC Bournemouth women’s team and the women’s team’s back-of-shirt sponsor, which will see them have their logo present on the women’s team’s playing kits. Additionally, they will also serve as The Net’s, AFC Bournemouth’s free-to-join business club, Official Partner.

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director, AFC Bournemouth, said,

“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with ESET for a further two seasons. They’re an expert partner that we love working alongside for the good of the club and the community in BCP.”

Matt Knell, Country Manager UK at ESET, stated,

“We’ve built a trusted partnership with AFC Bournemouth and are excited to extend our collaboration into the next season and beyond. As their dedicated cybersecurity provider, we deliver multilayered digital protection so the club can focus on performance on the pitch. With off-pitch defence more important than ever, we’re proud to provide that foundation. We look forward to working even more closely in the season ahead and supporting future success.”
