Asian Football Confederation (AFC) partners with Qatar Airways

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced a global partnership agreement with Qatar Airways Group with the aim of “transforming fan experiences at Asian football events”. 

The multi-year partnership, set to run till 2029, will cover events such as the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia, the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup, the 2024 AFC U23 Asian Cup Qatar, the AFC Futsal Asian Cups of 2024, 2026 and 2028, as well as all AFC youth national team competitions during the period.

The 2023/24 AFC Champions League Knockout Stage is also included in the agreement, with Qatar Airways set to introduce travel packages for the fans.
