The Mumbai Indians (MI) have announced a partnership with FiatPe, a fintech company, roping it in as their Official Payments Partner.
The deal will see FiatPe facilitate digital payment acceptance on MI matchdays, providing QR, POS, and card-based payment solutions designed to handle peak transaction loads.
On the FiatPe partnership, a Mumbai Indians spokesperson said:
“Delivering a seamless fan experience requires dependable infrastructure across every aspect of matchday operations, including payments. We are pleased to partner with FiatPe, whose robust technology will help ensure fast, reliable, and frictionless transactions across the matchday environment for our valued fans.”
Anshuman Dadheech, FiatPe Founder, said:
“In environments like live matches, payments are not a feature; they are a system that everything else depends on. When queues build and transaction volumes rise, what matters is consistency and predictability. This association with the Mumbai Indians is meaningful to us, as it reflects the trust placed in our infrastructure to perform when needed most. That is how we think about payments at FiatPe, as systems that quietly hold commerce together.”
