AFCON 2021 Sponsors

Following are the companies and organisations that serve as sponsors and brand partners to the CAF Africa Cup of Nations and enjoy a strong branding presence across its physical and digital assets.

Title Sponsor

TotalEnergies

The Courbevoie-headquartered French oil and gas company was announced as an official partner of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in October 2016 on an eight-year deal. Since then, the multinational company has served as the Title Sponsor to AFCON.

Therefore, AFCON 2021 is also known as the TotalEnergies 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Official Sponsors

Orange

The Paris-headquartered French telecom giant has been an official CAF partner since 2008, supporting African football and expanding its operations across Africa ever since. The two parties last renewed their partnership in an eight-year agreement in December 2016.

In the past, Orange has served as the Title Sponsor to AFCON’s 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015 editions.

Visa

The Foster City, California-headquartered American financial services provider was announced as the Payments Technology Sponsor of AFCON in November 2018.

In a deal covering the 2019 and 2021 editions of AFCON, Visa serves as the exclusive provider of payment services at all AFCON venues as well as the preferred payment option for buying tickets for AFCON matches both online and in-person. Visa is also the official partner of the player escort program, which provides an opportunity to over a thousand kids to be mascots and lead teams out for their AFCON matches.

1xBet

The Cyprus-based online gambling company serves as an Official Sponsor to AFCON as per the sponsorship deal it signed with CAF in February 2019.

Apart from AFCON, 1xBet also sponsors CAF’s major club competitions — the CAF Champions League, the CAF Confederation Cup and the CAF Super Cup.

Continental Tires

Continental, a Hanover-headquartered German automotive parts manufacturer, signed a sponsorship deal with CAF in May 2019 to make its tyre-manufacturing division the Official Tyre Sponsor of AFCON.

As per the five-year deal, Continental Tires is set to serve AFCON as an Official Sponsor for its 2019, 2021 and 2023 editions. It is also the exclusive sponsor of the tournament’s Best Goalkeeper performance index.
