Decathlon has been confirmed as the Official Equipment Supplier of French footballer Antoine Griezmann.
As per the agreement, Decathlon will supply the veteran French star with footwear designed by Kipsta, a Decathlon brand. Griezmann will also work with the brand on a host of co-designed products and act as the face of various campaigns and advertisements.
The deal sees Decathlon break into the international footballing world with the hope of using Griezmann’s global image to reach out to wider audiences.
Speaking about joining Decathlon, Griezmann commented:

By making football accessible to everyone through inclusive, innovative and high-performance products, DECATHLON allows everyone to experience the magic of this universal sport that I have been enjoying for more than 20 years now. This new adventure is a real source of inspiration for me, because it gives me the unique opportunity to contribute directly to the co-creation of products that will serve me in the field, including crampons pushing the limits of performance even further.“
