CONCACAF teams up with Aramco

The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football, commonly referred to as “CONCACAF”, has signed a multi-year partnership agreement with Saudi Arabian oil and natural gas company Aramco.

The deal will see Aramco become the Official Energy Partner of all national teams and club events of the the football-governing body of North and Central Americas, starting with the ongoing W Gold Cup.

The partnership is to cover CONCACAF competitions such as the upcoming Champions Cup, the Nations League Finals, the future men’s Gold Cups, Nations Leagues, men’s and women’s U20 and U17 Championships, as well as the full ecosystem of CONCACAF club competitions.

Victor Montagliani, President and FIFA Vice President, CONCACAF, commented:

We look forward with great anticipation to working with Aramco to elevate all of our Concacaf competitions.  This is a very exciting time for the growth of football in our region, and we truly believe this partnership will be of mutual benefit for both organisations.

Khalid Al Zamil, Vice President of Public Affairs, Aramco, added:

Aramco has proudly established a track record of promoting active lifestyles by investing in global sports and events.  Concacaf will provide Aramco with significant visibility through its club competitions, and also opportunities for engagement with fans as the popularity of football grows across the region.
