The Bergamaschi have become a very exciting team in recent seasons. Under manager Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta made headlines last season as they finished third in Serie A and surprisingly made it to the quarter finals of UEFA Champions league after winning none of their first three games in the group stage. This season, they’re competing against Liverpool, Ajax and Midtjylland in the Champions League’s Group D. We look at their sponsors for the season.

Plus500 – Online international financial firm Plus500 was announced as the principal sponsor of Atalanta earlier this year in August. The three-year deal sees Plus500’s logo feature on the front of the club’s matchday kits, replacing that of RadiciGroup.

Joma – Spanish sportswear brand Joma has been serving as the official kit supplier of the Bergamo-based club since 2017, when it replaced Nike. The two parties extended their partnership last year in an improved deal that will see Joma supply Atalanta kits until 2024.

RadiciGroup – Bergamo-based chemicals company RadiciGroup first partnered up with Atalanta as their principal sponsor for their UEFA Europa League and Coppa Italia matches during the 2017-18 season. A year later, it became the outright principal sponsor for all the competitions Atalanta featured in. Earlier this year, after Atalanta signed a principal sponsorship deal with Plus500, they revamped their deal with RadiciGroup, making the company their new “Heart Sponsor” for the next three seasons.The new deal sees the company’s logo feature on the top right side of their home jerseys and below the Plus500 logo on the away jerseys. These branding rights are only effective during the club’s domestic (Serie A and Coppa Italia) matches.

Gewiss – Bergamo-headquartered Energy and lighting products manufacturer Gewiss signed a six-year deal with Atalanta last year in May.As per the deal, Gewiss acquired naming rights for the club’s home ground, so that the then called Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia would be known as the Gewiss Stadium (called Atalanta Stadium during UEFA matches). The Gewiss Stadium is also undergoing a renovation (expected to be completed by 2021) that would see the stadium capacity increased to 24,000. Gewiss is providing lighting, management, protection, and energy distribution services for the renovation project. The deal also sees Gewiss hold branding rights on Atalanta’s jersey, as its logo features on the back of the kit, right below the numbers.

Automha – Italian logistics company Automha was announced as the club’s official sleeve sponsor in a three-year deal in November 2018.The deal sees Automoha’s logo feature on the left sleeve of Atalanta’s matchday kits.

OrioCenter – Situated right across Orio al Serio International Airport (also known as Milan Bergamo Airport) OrioCenter is one of the largest shopping malls in Italy. OrioCenter serves as one of the premium sponsors to local football side Atalanta. The deal grants the shopping centre branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets. Atalanta also have one of their official stores inside the mall.

Brembo – Bergamo-based automotive brake systems manufacturer Brembo also serves as a principal sponsor to Atalanta since 2018. The deal grants the company branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets. Brembo also serves as a sponsor to the club’s youth teams.

Intred – Last month, Lombardy-based telecom operator Intred was announced as a Top Sponsor of Atalanta in a two-year agreement. The deal sees Intred hold branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Replay – Asolo-headquartered fashion brand Replay was announced as the Official Denim Partner of the Bergamaschi in a three-year deal that puts the company in the club’s Top Sponsors tier.

Ovet Viaggi – Bergamo-based travel agency Ovet Viaggi serves as the official travel agency to Atalanta.As per the deal, Ovet oversees the organisation of Atalanta’s matchday outings and offers travel packages for the fans. Over also holds branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Habilita – Bergamo-based medical institution Habilita serves as the official medical partner of Atalanta. As per the deal, Habilita provides medical services to the club, with the two also collaborating on seminars and professional courses. Habilita also holds branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Vierre Autonolleggio – Bergamo-based car rental agency Vierre Auronolleggio serves as the official mobility partner to Atalanta. As per the deal, Vierre provides coaches to the Atalanta squad for their matchdays. It also holds branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Bottega del Sarto – Italian fashion brand Bottega del Sarto is the official fashion partner of Atalanta.As per the deal, Bottega del Sarto dresses the Atalanta staff and players with bespoke formalwear. It also provides exclusive discounts to Atalanta’s season ticket holders.


GI Group – HR specialist firm Gi Group is one of the largest companies in the Italian staffing industry. It also serves as an exclusive partner of Atalanta since 2015. The deal grants Gi Group branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Italpol – Italian private security firm Italpol serves as the security partner to Atalanta. The deal grants Italpol branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

 

Green Energy – Italian electricity and methane gas supplier Green Energy serves as the official energy partner of Atalanta since 2017. The deal sees the company collaborate with the club over several fan engagement activities and hold branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Volvo – Gothenburg-headquartered Swedish manufacturing company Volvo serves as the official car partner of Atalanta since 2015.The deal grants branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets. Volvo also holds image rights for the club’s players to include them in promotional adverts.

TecnoBody – Dalmine-based TecnoBody is an organisation that focuses on the study of movement and the complexity of human anatomy. The company is dedicated towards research in this field to provide technological and holistic solutions to the biomechanical, medical and physiological industries.
TecnoBody serve as the official performance partner of Atalanta. The deal sees the company provide its products and expertise to the Bergamaschi in order to closely monitor the players’ movements and optimise performance.

Milan Bergamo Airport – Also known as the Orio al Serio International, the Milan Bergamo Airport serves as the official airport of Atalanta.

Massigen – Sandrigo-headquartered health supplements manufacturer and supplier Massigen also serves as a Special Sponsor to Atalanta. The deal grants Massigen branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Wuber – Italian sausage specialist Wuber serves as an official sponsor of Atalanta’s youth academy.

Frecciarossa – Italian high-speed train Frecciarossa serves as the official train of Atalanta. The deal grants Frecciarossa branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.

Crypto Millions Lotto – World’s biggest digital lottery, Crypto Millions Lotto, was announced as the club’s official online lottery partner earlier in September. Primarily aimed to promote Bitcoin, the deal also grants Crypto Millions Lotto branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets. Sanpellegrino Gruppo – Italian mineral water and non-alcoholic beverages brand Sanpellegrino was announced as the official water partner of the club in September. The two-year deal grants Sanpellegrino branding rights across the club’s digital and physical assets.
