Bengaluru FC teams up with Neo San

Sustainability focused partnership announced

Bengaluru-based Indian Super League (ISL) club Bengaluru FC have announced a new strategic partnership with innovative waste management solutions firm Neo San, with sustainability as the main focus of the deal. The partnership will be changing the way the club takes care of waste at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Neo San will be using their high-efficiency incinerators at the Kanteerava to process the waste during the games so that none of the waste goes to the landfills, as the agreement aims to move towards ‘zero waste to landfill’.

Divyanshu Singh, Chief Operating Officer of JSW Sports, said,

“At Bengaluru FC, we recognize the role we play in the community and the need for us to adopt sustainability practices across all facets of the club. Our goal is to work towards achieving net zero emissions. We took the first step last season by collaborating with Hasiru Dala to ensure total waste management for all our matchdays at the Kanteerava Stadium. This season, we’re partnering with Neo San which specialises in creating sustainable waste management solutions using advanced technology and they have been on the forefront of eco-friendly waste handling. Through this partnership, we aim to be a club which is not just a football champion but also champions sustainability.”

Dhwaj Bagrecha, Co-founder and CEO, Neo San, added,

“We, at Neo San, have a dream of creating a world free of burning dumps, landfills and open, unattended garbage. Joining hands with BFC, a football club with such a rich heritage and ardent supporters in the community, will go a long way in creating a positive societal impact while applying our technology. We are extremely happy to collaborate with BFC to achieve our shared dream of a cleaner city!”
