SA20 is a franchise T20 cricket tournament based in South Africa. Organised by the country’s cricket-governing body, Cricket South Africa (CSA), its inaugural season was held last year (January 10 to February 12, 2023).

In December 2022, global betting company Betway was announced as the Title Sponsor of SA20.
The multi-year deal sees Betway working towards growing its brand presence in the region. The partnership also sees the league officially referred to as the “Betway SA20”.
In January 2024, Mumbai-headquartered Indian fantasy sports platform Dream11 was announced as the Official Fantasy Sport Partner of the Betway SA20.
South African telecom operator rain and SA20 first partnered in 2023 for the playoffs of the inaugural SA20 season.
The partnership, renewed ahead of SA20 Season 2, sees rain provide data giveaways and put up mobile Wi-Fi hotspot stations at the SA20 teams’ stadiums to enhance fan experiences.
AB InBev’s lager brand Castle Lite signed a partnership agreement with the Betway SA20 in November 2023, coming on board as the Official Beer Partner of the league.
As per the deal, Castle Lite enjoys exclusive pouring rights at all SA20 games while also working on in-stadium activities for the match-going fans.
In November 2023, the City of Cape Town was revealed as the Official Host City for the 2024 SA20 final after a partnership agreement was reached between Cape Town Government and the league.
In November 2023, the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation South Africa was announced as the league’s Social Impact Partner.
The partnership sees participants across the various Laureus Sport for Good programmes hosted at SA20 matches, with the league also supporting their fundraising initiatives. Laureus children are also to walk out to the ground with the captains for the final of SA20 Season 2.
The agreement also extends to India, with former Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and Yuvraj Singh working closely with Laureus Sport for Good.
Based in London and specialising in luxury leather accessories and silverware, British company Thomas Lyte serves as the Official Trophy Partner to the Betway SA20 and, thus, designs and supplies the league trophy.

In January 2024, global technology firm Zoho was revealed as the Official Business Technology Partner of the Betway SA20.
As per the deal, Zoho provides cutting-edge solutions to enhance the league’s digital capabilities and operational efficiency. Zoho also collaborates with the league on fan engagement activities and has digital presence at its matches.
SA20 signed a multi-year deal with CricViz, a cricket data and analytics company, in January 2024.
The partnership, currently set to run until 2026, sees CricViz provide the league with its data and analytics services. It also sees a first-of-its-kind “Enhanced Commentary” service offered to the viewers, which is powered by a natural-language-generation AI and is to be used alongside CricViz’s “Wagon Wheel”, “Beehive”, “Pitchmap” and “Manhattan” data visualisations.
