boAt inks multi-team IPL deal

Three Indian Premier League (IPL) teams have signed a new partnership agreement with consumer audio and lifestyle brand boAt. The three teams are: the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and the Gujarat Titans (GT).

While the RCB and the GT have roped in boAt as their Official Audio and Wearable Partner, the KKR have extended their partnership with boAt and will have them continue on as their Official Audio Partner.

Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul and Shikhar Dhawan are to serve as boAt brand ambassadors and star in various ad campaigns. Additionally, the boAt branding will also be present on the RCB helmets and team caps, while the GT will launch a special edition of boAt products, which will be available for the fans for a limited time.

boAt will also launch a 360-degree campaign titled “Wear Your Smart”, which is aimed at highlighting “winning moments as well as the brand’s passion for cricket”.

Aman Gupta, Co-Founder & CMO of boAt, commented:

Cricket has always been and will continue to be seen as a religion in our country. We are excited to partner with various T20 teams once again. This season, we are extending the narrative to make it more inclusive of our smartwatch category. To be a part of this fiesta is a fantastic feeling altogether, and we look forward to a fruitful association this year as well.
