AFC Bournemouth have extended their partnership with independent financial advisory firm Strategic Solutions, which will thus continue on in its role as the Official Partner of the club’s Community Sports Trust for the 2023/24 season.
Strategic Solutions will support AFC Bournemouth’s “Money Management” programme, which is delivered to students in local primary and secondary schools in Dorset. The firm will also support teachers and students with financial management awareness and serve as AFC Bournemouth U-18’s front-of-shirt sponsor as well as Goal of the Month sponsor.
Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, said:
“Strategic Solutions are a long-standing partner of the club and one we’ve really enjoyed working with over the years. I look forward to continuing the good relationship we have and we’re very grateful for the support they give our community programme in the Money Management programme.“
Giles Wellington, Chartered Financial Planner Principal at Strategic Solutions, said:
“Our community foundation is very happy to renew our collaboration with the sports trust and see this a great example of where working together can make a huge difference. Bournemouth staff delivering sessions on basic personal finance, in their training kit, unsurprisingly holds the attention of the children better than ‘men in suits’ on this important subject not normally covered in the curriculum. Our community foundation is funded out of income from our advisers and matched by the firm. This initiative along with many other worthy causes over the last five years, is something we’re all really proud of.“
