The three-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings will be looking to win their fourth title under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni as they prepare for their opening encounter against last year’s champion Mumbai Indians. They lost the final to Mumbai by just a single run and would be looking forward to take revenge this time around when they meet on the 19th of September. All the successful teams have many fans, and a huge fanbase attracts numerous sponsors to the team. Here are all the sponsors of the Chennai Super Kings for this year’s IPL season:
The Muthoot Group – The principal sponsors of the CSK team, the Muthoot group will have their name printed on the CSK shirt yet again this season as they had extended their contract in 2018 for another three years. The Muthoot group were sponsoring The Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) earlier for 4 years and has also sponsored teams in the Indian Super League and the Pro Kabaddi League.
India Cements – Another major sponsorship for the team is that of India Cements as it is the parent company of the owner of the Chennai Super Kings franchise. They joined forces with CSK after the team’s return to the Indian Premier League from the 2-year ban they were punished with and is an important partner ever since.
Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited. – The first bank from Tamil Nadu post-independence, is an associate sponsor for the Chennai Super Kings since 2018.
Balkrishna Tyre (BKT) – Leading off-highway tyre manufacturer, have inked a deal with CSK who will spot the same logo as 6 other teams this season. They have deals in other leagues as well, including the likes of Serie A and La Liga.
Jio Digital Life – The network company, is an associate sponsor to all the IPL teams this season.
SEVEN – This is a brand owned by the team skipper M.S. Dhoni himself and is the team’s official jersey partner. They also provide with official club T-shirts and other merchandise.
Gulf Lubricants – A pioneer in the lube industry, Gulf oil has been in association with the Chennai Super Kings since 2011 and since then have been able to make strong inroads in the Southern Market and shared all the success with the team. They also have captain M.S. Dhoni as their Brand Ambassador. They were earlier associated with the Kings XI Punjab before they switched to the Yellow army.
ACT Fibernet – ACT Fibernet are India’s largest fibre-focused wired broadband internet service provider and are the official Internet Partner for the Chennai team. They had extended their partnership last year and provided around 40,000 fans with high speed uninterrupted internet in the stadium to indulge in social media activities and to watch match replays.
NOVA and iB Cricket – These two are the official Media Partners of the team and will handle most of the media coverages and advertising regarding the team players and more.
Levista Coffee – The Chennai Super Kings have announced Levista Coffee (launched in December 2017) which is primarily sold in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu as their ‘Official licensed Coffee Partner’ for the 2020 IPL Season. Through this association, the brand will launch a special season/limited edition package in its instant coffee range as well as other collector’s worth combo packs with special Thala MS Dhoni and CSK team keepsakes, a coveted range for both coffee and cricket fans
Fever FM and Hello FM – The radio stations has been the official radio partner for the team since 2008 also having associations with few other teams in the IPL.
ASAP – MS Dhoni and team have branded chocolates to their name as well now as their Official partner ASAP (As Simple AS Possible) have launched a special CSK edition of the Almond and Dark Chocolate Granola Bar Packs. They are the official energy partner for the Chennai Super Kings for 2020.
NAC Jewelers – The jewelry company also has a partnership with the team and will produce customized CSK merchandise, such as Kadas.
boAt – Consumer audio products brand, BOAT, are the official partner of CSK and some other IPL teams as well.
Sonata – In March 2019, the brand had associated with the Indian Premier League franchise, Chennai Super Kings as an official merchandise partner. Sonata has launched an exciting range of CSK watches and fitness bands to delight the fans.
Dream 11 – The fantasy sports gaming platform allows fans to play all kinds of fantasy sports games on their mobiles and win cash prizes. They are official partners of the Chennai team and the main sponsors of the IPL after replacing VIVO this year.
Boost – The famous drink brand is CSK’s official Stamina Partner for this year’s IPL season. They signed this partnership in August 2020.
Mai Dubai – Mai Dubai, the bottled water company fully owned by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), announced that it has partnered with the Chennai Super Kings as their official Hydration Partner for this years IPL Season.
EUME – Chennai Super Kings has partnered with popular lifestyle brand EUME as their official mask partner for the upcoming 2020 Indian Premier League season. The association will see CSK players and their support staff wear EUME masks. EUME launched a wide range of high-grade masks in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
British Empire – British Empire Glasses and SNJ Distilleries Private Limited had signed a deal with CSK in February 2019 and are still associated with them for the next season.
Clear Anti Dandruff – The French brand of anti-dandruff shampoo is also the Chennai Super Kings’ sponsors this season.
Nippon Paint – Chennai Super Kings signed a sponsorship deal with Nippon Paint in march 2018 and are the team’s official partners for the 2020 season.
Fast and UP – The nutrition products Company has signed a sponsorship deal with CSK recently and are their official nutrition partner for the 2020 IPL.
Fan Play – Fanplay was created to provide an engagement platform for fitness and sport lovers. They are associated with CSK as their official partners for this year’s IPL.
The Souled Store – The online clothing brand is the official merchandise partner for CSK.
