Copa América partners with Unilever

International consumer products giant Unilever has partnered with the 2024 Copa América 2024, coming on board as an official sponsor following a partnership agreement with CONMEBOL.

The deal will see Unilever brands “Axe”, “Degree”, “Dove”, and “Dove Men+Care” act as Official Sponsors of the tournament, which is scheduled to be held in the US from June 20 to July 14 later this year.

The aforementioned Unilever brands will host fan engagement activities through digital activations, stadium experiences, and retail promotions over the course of the upcoming Copa América.

José Astigarraga, CONMEBOL’s Secretary General, commented:

Having Unilever as a partner provides us with the opportunity to connect with fans and athletes in a different way, where we invite everyone to feel greatness through brands that enhance their well-being. We’re very excited about all the upcoming joint actions that will give our fans the opportunity to live one-of-a-kind experiences all over the continent.

Fabian Garcia, Personal Care President at Unilever, added:

Working with the CONMEBOL Copa América USA 2024, our brands will connect with an enormous and highly engaged audience. This is a significant opportunity to engage a growing audience of soccer fans, demonstrate relevance, and build brand power, while promoting sports for future generations of athletes.
