Cricket West Indies inks Goldmedal deal

Goldmedal Electricals has inked a new sponsorship deal with Cricket West Indies (CWI) for the ongoing West Indies v India ODI series.

Goldmedal has been announced as the Official “Powered By” Sponsor for the three-match ODI series. The partnership will see Goldmedal gain prominent branding at the grounds throughout the series on the integrated logo of the series, pitch mat, perimeter board and presentation boards as well.

Kishan Jain, Director, Goldmedal, commented:

As a cricket-loving nation, we are thrilled to be associated with this ODI series. The Goldmedal brand is about providing amazing experiences – and the way India and West Indies play the game – there’s a lot of amazing moments in store for the audience. We are looking forward to an electrifying series between the two teams and we hope that this is just the beginning of our long association with cricket India.

Johnny Grave, CEO, Cricket West Indies, added:

We’re pleased to welcome Goldmedal as the “Powered by” partner for the CG United ODI Series as they increase their partnerships in cricket, and become one of several new sponsors for the West Indies vs India Series. The West Indies vs India Series is always exciting and highly anticipated around the world featuring two of the world’s most charismatic teams and two incredibly passionate sets of fans.

Team India, led by Shikhar Dhawan in absence of regulars like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah, won the first ODI by three runs and the second ODI by two wickets, thereby securing the series. The third and final ODI, scheduled for July 27, will be followed by a five-match T20I series.

Prior to signing a deal with Cricket West Indies, Goldmedal also served as a sponsor of India’s recently-concluded tour of Ireland.
