Cristiano Ronaldo’s response to winning the EPL Player of the Month Award September 2021

Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United was awarded Premier League Player of the Month for September, while Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was named Manager of the Month.

After a strong start to his second spell at Old Trafford, Ronaldo has won Player of the Month for the sixth time in his career.

He won the accolade ahead of Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, Manchester City defender Joao Cancelo, Newcastle’s Allan Saint-Maximin, Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger, and Watford’s Ismaila Sarr after scoring five goals in six games, including three in the league in September. Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was awarded Manager of the Month for September after putting behind a tumultuous start to the season to win all three matches of the month.
