The Football Association, the football-governing body of England, has roped in credit score and report platform ClearScore as an official partner of the men’s and women’s FA Cups — officially known as the Emirates FA Cup and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, respectively.
ClearScore will leverage this partnership to “amplify its mission” of encouraging financial literacy and well-being throughout the UK. It will also work on marketing campaigns, which will entail “storytelling demonstrating the impact of the men’s and women’s FA Cups on real people as well as directly engaging lower-league teams to actively support and help them to achieve their goals.”
James Gray, Commercial Director of the FA, commented:
“We’re delighted to welcome ClearScore as an official partner of the Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women’s FA Cup. These competitions are built on the principles of opportunity and ambition, and ClearScore’s commitment to helping people progress in life makes them a perfect partner.”
Justin Basini, Co-founder and CEO at ClearScore, added:
“We’re proud to partner with the Emirates FA Cup and the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, which capture the imagination of millions of people every season. The spirit of the competitions is rooted in inclusivity, celebrating football at all levels, local pride and the connection between clubs and communities. At ClearScore, we share those same values of pride and winning as a team. We look forward to seeing all the wonderful drama and excitement which the fans and our users will enjoy in the seasons ahead, while we’ll stick to taking the drama out of personal finance!”
