Hungarian first division champions Ferencváros are playing in the UEFA Champions League group stages for the first time in 25 years. We take a look at their sponsors for this season.

MVM – Hungarian state-owned energy group MVM serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. The sponsorship deal grants MVM branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets. MVM also sponsors the club’s training center, which is thusly called the FTC-MVM Sports Center (FTC-MVM Sportközpont in Hungarian).

Magyar Telekom – Magyar Telekom is the Hungarian arm of German telecom giant Deutsche Telekom. It is the largest telecom company in Hungary. After sponsoring their youth development programme in 2014, Magyar Telekom became the principal sponsor of Ferencváros the next year, which saw its logo emblazoned across the front of the club’s matchday kits.

Nike – The American sportswear giant is the long-time official kit supplier of Ferencváros.

Groupama – French insurance group Groupama also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. In April 2014, Groupama acquired the naming rights for the club’s new home ground. The ground is since known as Groupama Aréna, except during FIFA and UEFA events; then it’s known as Ferencváros Stadion.

Penny Market – Hungarian discount supermarket chain Penny Market also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. As part of the deal, Penny Market holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets. It also has its own dedicated sector at the Groupama Aréna.

Teqball – Ferencváros official sponsors the game of Teqball – a sport that combines the elements of football and tennis. As part of the sponsorship, club’s players engage in promotional events to play teqball.

Mercarius – Hungarian fleet management company Mercarius Flottakezel? (Mercarius Fleet Manager) also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. As part of the deal, Mercarius holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.

Lidl Hungary – The Hungarian arm of the German discount supermarket chain Lidl also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. As part of the deal, Lidl Hungary holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.

HungaroControl – Hungarian air navigation service provider HungaroControl also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. As part of the deal, HungaroControl holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.

Tigra – Hungarian informatics company Tigris also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. As part of the deal, Tigris holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.

Volkswagen – Wolfsburg-headquartered German automotive giant Volkswagen also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros.As part of the deal, Volkswagen holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.

Tippmix – Owned by Hungary’s largest gambling service provider Szerencsejáték Zrt., online sports betting platform Tippmix also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváros. As part of the deal, Tippmix holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.

OTP Bank – Apart from sponsoring the Hungarian first division, Nemzeti Bajnokság I (thusly called OTP Bank Liga), Budapest-headquartered independent financial institution OTP Bank also serves as an official sponsor to Ferencváro..As part of the deal, OTP Bank holds branding rights across the club’s physical and digital assets.
