Ferrari renews and expands Brembo partnership

Italian Formula One team Ferrari have announced a partnership renewal and expansion of their agreement with supplier of high-performance braking systems, Brembo, who will continue on as Ferrari’s Technical Partner. The partnership will also expand with Brembo now supporting the Ferrari Hypercar project in the FIA World Endurance Championship.

Brembo will supply the entire braking system, including hydraulic and friction components for Ferrari’s F1 race cars and Hypercars. Ferrari and Brembo have been partners for over fifty years.

Lorenzo Giorgetti, Chief Racing Revenue, Ferrari, commented,

“The renewal and strengthening of the partnership with Brembo represent the natural evolution of a historic collaboration that has lasted for over fifty years. Extending this relationship to the Ferrari Hypercar project in the World Endurance Championship means sharing a common vision focused on innovation, performance, and reliability at the highest levels of Motorsport.

Brembo is a benchmark partner, capable of supporting us both in Formula 1 and in Endurance, different disciplines united by the same pursuit of technical excellence.”

Ferdinando Cannizzo, Head of Ferrari Endurance Race Cars, said,

“In endurance Racing, competitiveness depends on the ability to maintain high and consistent performance, efficiency, and reliability under often extreme and variable environmental conditions. The collaboration with Brembo, now extended to the endurance world as well, allows us to face these challenges with a partner that shares our core values, such as the pursuit of excellence, results, driven focus, and continuous innovation. Together, we develop braking solutions that ensure durability, safety and performance, decisive elements for competing at the highest level in the FIA WEC.”

Mauro Piccoli, Chief Marketing Officer, Brembo, added,

“Ferrari and Brembo share a history shaped by challenges and progress. Extending this collaboration from Formula 1 with Scuderia Ferrari HP to the FIA WEC endurance series with Ferrari Hypercar is a natural step: endurance racing highlights reliability, consistency of performance, and efficiency, the pillars on which we build our braking systems. In a Motorsport arena that is increasingly followed by the new generations, this partnership provides the ideal framework to enhance our brand and to develop technologies capable of transferring performance and safety from the track to everyday road cars, strengthening our identity as an innovator and technological leader in braking solutions.”
