FIFA expands Globant partnership

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the world football–governing body, has announced an expansion of its partnership with Globant, a digitally native company focused on reinventing businesses through innovative technology solutions.

The expanded agreement adds several FIFA tournaments to the partnership, with Globant set to deliver enhancements to FIFA’s official digital platforms and a new mobile application to help “power” the tournaments.

Globant is now a Tournament Supporter in North America and Europe of the 2026 World Cup and the 2027 Women’s World Cup. It will also cover other key FIFA tournaments, including the 2025 FIFAe Finals set to be held in Saudi Arabia next month, as well as the 2027 U20 World Cup set to be held in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

Mattias Grafström, Secretary General, FIFA, commented:

This new agreement between FIFA and Globant reflects each organisation’s vision to reimagine how football is experienced in the digital era, while preserving the emotion, community and global reach that bring the game to every corner of the world. We look forward to continuing our cooperation with Globant as we build digital services that make our tournaments even more engaging and enjoyable for fans.

Martin Migoya, Globant Co-founder and CEO, added:

We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with FIFA and jointly embark on this new phase of innovation for football. Technology can amplify the power of sport – enabling deeper connections, richer experiences and more personalised journeys for fans around the world.
