Tyre manufacturing firm Hankook has been unveiled as the Official Tyre Supplier of the FIA Formula E World Championship. Hankook will also join as an exclusive Technical Partner of Formula E.
As per the partnership, Hankook will be producing a new tyre designed specifically to suit Formula E while keeping the sustainability goals of the motor series in mind. 30% of this tyre is made of sustainable materials. Hankook has also announced that each set of tyre will be recycled after every race weekend to maintain sustainability.
