After the collapse of the Marussia team in 2014, Haas Automation, led by Gene Haas, bought Marussia’s headquarters and entered the world of Formula One backed by Ferrari engines.
The team made their debut in the 2016 season with drivers Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutiérrez. Haas became the first American constructors to score points on debut. Although the team had a strong start to their Formula One career and finished a career-best fifth in the Constructors’ Championship in 2018, the Kannapolis- and Banbury-based team have taken a few steps backwards since then.
After a quiet 2020 and 2021, the American team will hope the new regulation changes of 2022 help them become a solid midfield team again.

In 2014, North American computer numerical control (CNC) machine tool builder Haas Automation entered the Formula One world with their own team.
The Haas team, backed by Ferrari-powered engines, made their debut in the 2016 F1 season.
In March 2021, Russian potash fertiliser producer and exporter Uralkali was announced as the Title Partner of the Haas F1 team. Along with gaining branding and visibility rights across all of the team’s channels and assets, Uralkali also received branding rights on the Haas cars.
Leading German telecommunications provider 1&1 partnered with Haas in March 2021. The multi-year deal saw 1&1 become Haas’ Exclusive Telecommunications Partner.
As part of the deal, the 1&1 logo is visible on the Haas cars, and Haas’ German driver, Mick Schumacher, also serves as a brand ambassador to the telecom company.
In their debut season in 2016, Haas partnered with Italian racing products manufacturer Alpinestars. Since then, the partnership sees Alpinestars serve the team as their Official Technical Wear Partner. Alpinestars currently provides Haas’ drivers and pit-stop crew with racing apparel and equipment.
In May 2021, Haas announced Swiss watchmaker CYRUS Genève as their Official Timekeeper & Watch Partner. The partnership sees both the Haas drivers and the Team Principal endorse the watches. Additionally, CYRUS Genève also holds branding rights across Haas’ digital assets.
In July 2021, German online retailer Home Deluxe signed a multi-year partnership with Haas. The partnership sees Home Deluxe enjoy branding visibility on the Haas cars and also across various other team assets.
One of Europe’s leading web hosting and cloud provider, Ionos joined the Haas family as their Official Cloud Partner in March 2021. As part of the agreement, the Ionos logo is visible on the Haas cars.
Eyewear brand Maui Jim was announced as Haas’ Official Eyewear Partner in June 2021. The partnership sees the Haas drivers sport Maui Jim sunglasses in the paddock along with other members of the team. Maui Jim, in return, gets branding across Haas’ platforms, which include the track and also online — across the team’s website and their social media channels.
Italian tyre manufacturer Pirelli currently serves as Haas’ Official Tyre Supplier. Through its partnership with Formula One, Pirelli has a partnership with all ten teams on the grid.
German safety helmet producer Schuberth has been a long-time partner of the American racing team. It currently provides the helmets for the Haas pit crew during the F1 season.
French champagne house Taittinger was announced as a partner of the American team in May 2021. The partnership sees Taittinger enjoy branding rights across Haas’ various assets.
American sports equipment company Under Armour joined the Haas family in March 2021. The partnership sees Under Armour provide the team with recovery products during the Formula One season. Under Armour is also a personal sponsor of Haas driver Mick Schumacher, having supported the young German since 2019.
Dutch work wear brand Tricorp Workwear was announced as the Official Team Kit Supplier of the Haas team in February 2022. The partnership will see Tricorp provide the drivers, staff and other members of the team with kits along with the Haas F1 Esports team as well. Additionally, Tricorp will also create merchandise for the Haas fans.
TransferMate Global Payments
The B2B payments infrastructure services provider signed on as an Official Team Partner of the Haas team in April 2022. The partnership sees Haas use TransferMate’s cross-border payments services, while the TransferMate logo is visible on the Haas race car and driver apparels.
Haas announced a partnership with Nordic fintech company Lunar in May 2022, ahead of the inaugural Miami Grand Prix. As part of the deal, the Lunar logo is present on the Haas race cars and on the race suit of Haas’ Danish driver, Kevin Magnussen.
In August 2022, trading platform for CFDs Hantec Markets was announced as Haas’ Official Online Trading Partner following a multi-year agreement. The partnership puts the Hantec Markets branding present on the Haas race car, race-suits of both the drivers and also in the team’s garage.
In November 2022, peer-to-peer NFT marketplace OpenSea was announced as Haas’ Official NFT Marketplace Partner. The partnership sees Haas and OpenSea work on various branded NFT collections and other fan experiences. The deal also sees the OpenSea logo feature on the Haas race car.
