David Beckham co-owned esports and lifestyle brand Guild Esports has signed a sponsorship deal with global beverage brand Coca-Cola. The deal will see Coca-Cola join as the esports team’s Official Soft Drinks and Hydration Partner.
By joining forces with Coca-Cola, Guild Esports has become the first-ever European esports organisation to ink a global sponsorship deal with Coca-Cola.

Kal Hourd, chief executive of Guild Esports, commented:
“Guild is signing up some of the world’s most respected brands and we are very proud to welcome Coca-Cola as a sponsor and partner. The partnership will see Coca-Cola provide Guild Esports with unique and unmissable experiences.
“They want to collaborate with Guild because we deliver great entertainment and memorable experiences for a millennial, hard-to-reach audience in one of the fastest growing segments of the sports entertainment industry.“
Guild Esports has also stated that following the agreement with Coca-Cola, the brand has seen its share prices rise by more than 40 per cent.
Co-founded by former England men’s national football captain David Beckham in June 2020, Guild Esports currently has competitive teams in FIFA, Rocket League, Fortnite and Apex Legends.
