American Formula One team Haas have announced a new partnership with Ziggo Sports for the upcoming Dutch Grand Prix.
The partnership will see Haas and the Dutch sports channel come together to give their fans exclusive access to the team in Zandvoort for the Dutch Grand Prix. Ziggo Sports’ logo will be present on the Haas race car’s halo and tyre deflectors. Haas drivers Kevin Magnussen and Mick Schumacher, along with team principal Guenther Steiner, will also make an appearance on Ziggo Sports’ Race Café programme.
Speaking about the partnership, Guenther Steiner, Team Principal of Haas Formula One Team, commented:
“We are delighted to be expanding our collaboration with Jack Plooij and Ziggo Sport for their home race. It’s an event with undeniable character and personality – a bit like their host – so we’re looking forward to being a part of the weekend’s programming and for the famous Ziggo Sport logo to adorn the VF-22 this weekend.“
Marcel Beerthuizen, Director of Ziggo Sport, stated:
“The infectious enthusiasm and optimistic drive of Steiner and his team fit in seamlessly with the way in which we portray and comment on car and motorsport. By experts with a love for the sport, for fans who enjoy everything Formula 1 has to offer.“
Jack Plooij, Presenter for Ziggo Sport, added:
“Our bromance has grown into something beautiful. Of course, as a sports channel, we go all out at ‘our’ Grand Prix in Zandvoort. With live broadcasts from the beach and now also with this sponsorship of our friends from Haas. It will be a very special weekend.“
