In the era of Make in India, our country is urging everyone to stop relying on foreign brands and step up to the challenge to try to buy homegrown products and try and innovate production ideas by yourself to help the country grow to greater levels. One recent innovation has been done by Vicky Sports, who are among the top 3 Indian sports brands to have a mass appeal. The brand that has been created is called ‘Transform’ and will focus majorly on racquet production. They have just roped in CWG Medallist Chetan Anand as their brand ambassador. Vicky Sports specializes in sports goods manufacturing since 1978.
The racquet is made out of military grade Graphite and has the best weight to strength ratio which is similar to the kind of racquets many of the foreign sporting brands provide. After being associated with the brand, the Arjuna awardee Chetan Anand said, “It’s an amazing feeling to get associated with the first-ever Indian badminton brand which is 100 percent in quality yet Indian. I have tried the Transform racquets myself and they are of extremely high standards. I believe, ‘Transform’ can and will script a new era for Indian badminton.”
This can be seen as a big step in the development of Indian sporting brands across the nation and will eventually help in the growth of sports and business in India.
