ICC to join hands with Himalaya

The International Cricket Council (ICC), the world’s governing body for cricket, is on the brink of signing yet another sponsorship contract in India. As per the reports, the 3-year arrangement between the parties was negotiated last year but could not be completed as Covid-19 was postponed from the T20 World Cup. Himalaya Goods can benefit from exposure at ICC events such as the ICC T20 World Cup in India and other events during the deal period.

ICC also has onboarded a wide array of sponsors of brands including NISSAN, OPPO, MRF Tires, Boooking.com, Byju’s, Emirates, MoneyGram, BIRA, Coca-Cola, Royal Stag, Dream11, UBP.

Himalaya has a long tradition of promoting Indian sports through sponsorship arrangements. It was a supporter of the Indian Super League for the 2020/21 season and has previously partnered with ISL clubs, including Chennaiyin FC. Himalaya has also supported Royal Challengers Bangalore in previous IPL promotions, and celebrities such as Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant have endorsed Himalaya cosmetics.
