Global battery brand Duracell has been revealed as the Official Power Partner of Inter Miami CF, having signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Floridian Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise.
The partnership will see the Bethel, Connecticut-headquartered company provide Inter Miami with critical devices like GPS vests and heart monitors to help collect data to deliver optimal performances. The battery manufacturer will also have branding visibility at Chase Stadium, the Inter Miami home ground, with Duracell-branded phone charging stations to be placed at the venue to enhance on-site experiences for the fans. The two parties will also work on several fan engagement activities.
Xavier Asensi, Chief Business Officer, Inter Miami CF, said:
“Inter Miami is honoured to welcome a world-renowned brand like Duracell to the team and takes great pride in being Duracell’s first partnership in the realm of fútbol. As we gear up for another exciting season, Duracell’s partnership will certainly help power our Club on and off the pitch.”
Ramon Velutini, Chief Marketing Officer, Duracell, added:
“Inter Miami CF and Duracell share a unique trait: we’re both ‘Built Different.’ Their relentless drive for excellence mirrors our own commitment to pushing boundaries and striving for the exceptional. Our presence will extend beyond the visible boundaries of the fútbol pitch, with the real strength of Duracell powering over 2,000 batteries in use during every match. It’s a privilege to fuel this partnership, supporting Inter Miami’s vision to transform and uplift soccer across the United States.“
