Indian Premier League (IPL) Sponsors 2025

This article contains information about the organisations serving as official sponsors and partners of the Indian Premier League (IPL) for its 2025 season.

Title Sponsor: TATA

When it initially took over the IPL title sponsorship from Vivo in 2022, the TATA Group and the IPL had agreed upon a two-year deal reportedly worth INR 670 crore.

In January 2024, TATA secured the IPL title rights for the next five years (2024–28), renewing its association with a record-breaking sum of INR 2,500 crore.

Official Partners

My11Circle

My11Circle, an Indian fantasy sports brand, made a substantial investment in the IPL in February 2024, pipping rival brand Dream11 to become the league’s official partner in the fantasy sports category with a winning bid of INR 625 crore.

Dream11, which had bid INR 515 crore, was an incumbent official partner. According to Cricbuzz, Dream11 had submitted a bid of INR 515 crore for five seasons (INR 103 crore per season), while My11Circle’s bid amounted to INR 625 crore (INR 125 crore per season) for the same period.

Angel One

In February 2024, Angel One, an Indian stockbroker, pipped rival company Groww in the IPL’s online stock trading sponsorship category with a winning bid of INR 410 crore against the latter’s bid of INR 380 crore, according to Cricbuzz. The deal is currently set to run until 2028.

RuPay

In February 2024, RuPay, an Indian financial and payment services system, became an official IPL partner with a bid of INR 210 crore on a three-year basis. RuPay did not face any competition in this category.

Official Umpire Partner: Wonder Cement

In May 2024, the Board of Control for Cricket in India signed Rajasthan-based Wonder Cement as the official umpire partner for the IPL. The deal is reportedly worth INR 250 crore and set to run until 2028.

Strategic Timeout Partner: CEAT

In February 2024, Indian multinational tyre manufacturer CEAT, the flagship company of the RPG Group, secured the Strategic Timeout Partner slot with a five-year deal reportedly worth INR 240 crore (INR 48 crore per year until 2028).

Broadcast Partner: Star Sports

In 2017, Star India won the overall broadcasting rights for the IPL. The deal was initially penned for a period of five years—covering the IPL from its 2018 to 2022 editions.

Star has since then held only the television broadcasting rights for the 2023–27 IPL cycle, with Viacom18 bagging the online streaming rights.

Digital Streaming Partner: JioHotstar

After Viacom18 won the exclusive digital rights for the IPL for the 2023–27 cycle by paying a whopping US$2.7 billion, it was announced that the IPL 2023 matches would be streamed for free on the company’s JioCinema platform.

In February 2025, Viacom18 and The Walt Disney Company announced the merger of their streaming platforms — respectively, JioCinema and Disney+ Hotstar — to form a unified platform, JioHotstar. Viacom18 holds the majority stake for this platform with a 63.16% ownership, with Disney holding the remaining 36.84%.

Hotstar—now JioHotstar—returned as the IPL’s online streaming platform ahead of its 2025 edition after the merger was completed.
