Jamshedpur FC was founded in 2017 by Tata Steel, a subsidiary of the Tata Group, and is since been owned and managed by the Indian company. Having debuted in the 2017-18 season of the ISL, the club’s home stadium, called “The Furnace” or JRD Tata Sports Complex, is named after the former chairman of the Tata Group.
India-based global automobile company Tata Motors has been a Principal Partner of Jamshedpur FC since their debut season in the ISL in the 2017-18 session.
Tata Motors promotes its goods and services through the football club and holds massive branding rights both on and off the field with Jamshedpur FC.

In November 2021, the State Bank of India (SBI) and Jamshedpur FC entered into a strategic partnership to promote Indian football. This was the SBI’s first substantial entry into the football industry.
In October 2021, Jamshedpur FC and Tata 1mg, an Indian consumer healthcare platform, struck a multi-year partnership, designating the latter as the former’s official health partner.
As per the agreement, Jamshedpur FC’s matchday uniforms features Tata 1mg branding on the shorts. Tata 1mg is also promoted across Jamshedpur FC’s digital channels and inside their home ground.
Nivia, an Indian sportswear company, has been Jamshedpur FC’s official kit partner since their debut in 2017.
Tata Pravesh, the home-solutions entity of Tata, also serves as an Associate Partner of the club.
Croma, India’s first and most trusted omni-channel electronics retailer from the Tata Group, announced its partnership with Jamshedpur FC for the 2022-23 edition of the Hero ISL in October 2022. Croma joined Jamshedpur FC as their Exclusive Electronics Sponsor for the remainder of the ISL season.
BigBasket is India’s largest online grocer headquartered in Bangalore and owned by Tata Group. Prior to the 2022-23 ISL season, Jamshedpur FC roped in BigBasket as their Exclusive Delivery Partner for the remainder of the 2022-23 ISL season.
Jamshedpur FC announced the continuation of their association with automotive company Tata Motors, the latter serving as the club’s official automobile partner for the 2022-23 ISL season, in October 2022.
As per the agreement, the association sees JFC promote Tata Tiago. Their match kit also bears the Tata Tiago logo on the sleeves as well as on their shorts.
Based out of Mumbai, Reliance Foundation is a non-profit organisation owned wholly by Mukesh Ambani’s Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries Limited.
As the Grassroots & Youth Development Partner of the club, Reliance Foundation works with them on grassroots-level projects to promote football from a young age.
