Jürgen Klopp, manager of Liverpool Football Club’s senior men’s team, has been named Brand Ambassador for Fischer, a German industrial corporation, in a deal commencing on January 1, 2023.
Klopp has referred to this deal as a “matter close to my heart”, given he grew up near Fischer’s headquarters while his father worked for the family business from Waldachtal in the Northern Black Forest for nearly 35 years.
Klopp and Fischer’s founder Prof. Klaus Fischer have stayed in touch over the years. The award-winning football manager also sent a football jersey signed “For Klaus from Klopp”, which is pinned in Klaus’ office.

Commenting on the deal, Jürgen Klopp said:
