LaLiga and Stats Perform have agreed to a new, five-year relationship that will allow the specialised company to provide authentic Spanish soccer league data and live betting broadcasts to its clients across the world.
More than 800 LaLiga matches will be collected and managed by Stats Perform each season in terms of live data and player statistics. Global broadcasters, sponsors, publishers, fantasy suppliers, bookmakers, and official league internet platforms all receive this information.
In addition to providing LaLiga viewers with a greater knowledge of the action, Stats Perform’s artificial intelligence (AI) powered statistics and predictions will also try to enlighten gamblers on their bets.
Through its Bet LiveStreams service, Stats Perform will also provide live video broadcasts of LaLiga events to authorised sportsbooks in foreign markets. The business will closely collaborate with LaLiga’s internal Integrity Unit to monitor betting trends within the same industry. The creation of visual assets for LaLiga and its partners using the PressBox Graphics Platform is another aspect of the agreement.
Commenting on the deal, Melcior Soler, Audiovisual Director at LaLiga said:
“Stats Perform’s unrivalled collection expertise, distribution and famous Opta brand means quality experiences for LaLiga fans and bettors.
“Their focus on innovation and AI will shed new light and tell new stories about how we play, immersing our local and global audiences more deeply in the game. Stats Perform is the perfect partner for a forward-thinking league like us.”
Alex Rice, Chief Commercial Officer of Stats Perform, added:
“The new deal demonstrates LaLiga’s commitment to growing its global appeal and providing a best-in-class experience for their fans.
“We’re delighted and proud to be able to continue to bring such a high level of sports entertainment to our global media and betting partners and their customers.”
