Liga Portugal 2024/25 Sponsors

Following are the organisations acting as official sponsors and partners of Liga Portugal—the premium men’s club football competition of Portugal (otherwise referred to as the Primeira Liga)—and enjoying a strong branding presence across its physical and digital assets for the 2024/25 season.

Main Sponsors

Liga Portugal 1: BetClic

Online betting operator Betclic agreed a deal to become the title sponsor of Liga Portugal in July 2023. 

Since the 2023/24 season, the competition is officially known as “Liga Portugal Betclic”. The deal is currently set to run until the end of the 2026/27 campaign. As per the deal, Betclic also carries out activations to connect with fans. 

Liga Portugal 2: Meu Super

Liga Portugal and Meu Super, a supermarket brand of retail leader MC, signed a partnership agreement in July 2024 that grants it the status of Naming Sponsor for Liga Portugal 2, the second division of Portuguese football, which is thus officially called “Liga Portugal Meu Super”.

Allianz Cup: Allianz

Allianz, one of the world’s largest insurance companies and the largest financial services provider in Europe, and Liga Portugal signed a multi-year naming rights partnership deal in June 2018, which made Allianz the naming rights partner of the domestic league cup, the Taça da Liga. 

The two parties last renewed their partnership in 2023. 

Official Sponsors

Abanca

Abanca is a Spanish credit and savings institution created in 2011. It has been acting as an official sponsor of Liga Portugal for a very long time. 

The deal grants Abanca branding rights both on-ground and across the league’s digital platforms. 

Puma

German athleticwear and sports apparel giant Puma first came on board as an official match ball sponsor for Liga Portugal in June 2023 after signing a multi-year sponsorship and licensing deal. 

Continente

Continente, the largest retailer in Portugal, and Liga Portugal announced a multi-year partnership agreement in August 2023. 

As part of the multi-year deal, fans will be able to buy tickets to Liga Portugal games from Continente outlets until 2027. 

Official Partners

Super Bock

Super Bock Group is a brewing company headquartered in Leça do Bailio (Matosinhos) in the metropolitan area of Porto. Since 2018, it has been acting as an official partner of Liga Portugal as well as several clubs across the league. 

Kinto

Established in 1972, Kinto started out as a wholesaler of tableware in Shiga, Japan, before branching out to several countries across Asia and Europe. It also currently acts as an official partner of Liga Portugal. 

Solinca

Solinca, a Portuguese chain of health and fitness clubs, acts as an Official Partner of the Liga Portuguesa de Futebol Profissional (LPFP), the governing body responsible for organising the Primeira Liga, since September 2020. 

The deal sees the LPFP and Solinca create co-branded content to promote a healthy, physically active lifestyle. Professional LPFP referees are also granted access to Solinca’s facilities as per the deal, with the latter enjoying a strong branding presence across the league’s digital and physical assets.

Under Blue

The Portuguese fashion brand also serves as an Official Partner to Primeira Liga.

Domino’s Pizza

Domino’s Pizza is an American multinational pizza restaurant chain founded in 1960. Over the years, it has partnered with and sponsored many leagues and clubs across the globe.

Ahead of the 2024/25 season, Domino’s joined forces with Liga Portugal, coming on board as an official partner. 

Skoiy

Based in Braga, Portugal, Skoiy is an integrated media platform that streamlines and simplifies management, distribution, and monetisation of online content across multiple independent platforms.

Leroy Merlin

Owned by the Mulliez family, Leroy Merlin is a France-based home improvement and gardening retailer serving several countries across Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa.

Official Suppliers

Cision

Incorporated in the Cayman Islands and headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, Cision is a public relations and earned media software company that acts as an Official Supplier of Primeira Liga.

wTVision

Mediapro-owned broadcasting solutions provider wTVision also serves as an Official Supplier to the Primeira Liga. wTVision helps the LPFP with its broadcast of Primeira Liga matches.

EY

The London-based private accounting firm also serves as an Official Supplier to the Primeira Liga. EY helps the league with the business side of things.
