The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) has announced a partnership with PlayReplay, a tennis-focused tech company, to launch an electronic line calling (ELC) system across all match courts at the Lexus Junior National Championships, taking place at the Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre from August 14–23.
The PlayReplay Electronic Line Calling (ELC) system will be installed on all indoor courts at the National Tennis Centre and the Lexus Nottingham Tennis Centre.
Oliver Scadgell, LTA Managing Director, Tennis Development, commented:
“We are excited to be working with PlayReplay to introduce line calling technology at the Lexus Junior National Championships and Lexus National Tour. We hope this will prove an important and innovative step in enhancing the tournament environment and help further deliver high-quality competition experiences for players, officials, coaches and parents at every level of the pathway.”
Hans Lundstam, CEO of PlayReplay, added:
“We are incredibly proud to have been selected as partners in the inaugural introduction of ELC to junior tennis in Britain. We genuinely enjoy working with the LTA, whose long-standing tennis tradition and network provide an invaluable platform to grow our European business further. We look forward to embarking on this partnership and elevating the game together with the LTA.”
