Hungarian telecom company Magyar Telekom has signed a long-term partnership agreement Hungarian professional footballer Dominik Szoboszlai.
The Liverpool FC midfielder, also captain of the Hungary men’s national football team, took to Instagram to announce the partnership.
The two parties will work together to encourage Hungarians not to give up despite difficult circumstances. The partnership is built on the narrative that no one should be allowed to stagnate in a poor mental state, and that everybody has the ability to shape their lives in the way they see fit.
Speaking about this deal, Tibor Rékasi, CEO, Magyar Telekom, said:
“It is true for both sport and digitalization that we can develop with consistent steps. The example of Dominik Szoboszlai showed the whole world that even as a Hungarian it is possible to reach the top league, with determination and perseverance all obstacles can be overcome. Through our cooperation, we want to inspire people to trust themselves and take the first steps towards their goals, because they can do it.”
Sharing his thoughts about the association, Szoboszlai, who is set to appear in a commercial film for the company, said:
“I am very happy that I can be the face of this campaign and that this is the start of my many years of cooperation with Magyar Telekom. It’s a message I can really relate to. It is also a good opportunity for me to speak to the Hungarian people and encourage them to notice the opportunities in their own lives. Just as they believe in me, I also believe in them that they can achieve their dreams.”
