Financial services company Mastercard has acquired the title sponsorship of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and will act in such capacity for all international and domestic BCCI games going forward.
The partnership will cover games played by both the men’s and women’s national teams, domestic tournaments such as the Ranji Trophy, the Duleep Trophy, the Irani Trophy and junior cricket matches like the U19 and U23 tournaments.
The deal has been completed to cover the entirety of the 2022-23 cricket season. The company will also increase fan engagement through this collaboration. The move was appreciated by the Honorary Secretary of the BCCI, who is pleased to associate Mastercard ahead of Team India’s series against Australia, South Africa and the T20I World Cup.
