McLaren Racing team up with Liquid I.V.

McLaren Racing have announced a multi-year partnership with sports drink brand Liquid I.V., which thus becomes an Official Partner of the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, the McLaren F1 Academy team, and Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team.

Through the partnership, Liquid I.V. will look after the McLaren teams’ day-to-day hydration needs via its products and carry out various fan engagement and experience activities.

Liquid I.V. will also enjoy branding exposure on the McLaren F1 team’s pit crew helmets, on the overalls of McLaren F1 Academy driver Ella Lloyd, and other team touchpoints.

Additionally, McLaren Racing’s team hub and Priceless Lounge will have Liquid I.V. Hydration Multiplier Sugar-Free products.

Matt Dennington, Co-Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Racing, commented:

We’re proud to welcome Liquid I.V. to the McLaren Racing family. As we kick start our 1,000th Grand Prix campaign in Miami, it’s the perfect moment to bring a brand that is already familiar among fans into our race week environment. Together, we’ll connect with audiences across North America through meaningful, lifestyle driven moments that celebrate the energy and excitement of our sport.

Brittany Shaw, Vice President of Integrated Marketing for Liquid I.V., added:

Both Liquid I.V. and McLaren Racing share a commitment to functional hydration, which is why we’re thrilled to be on board as an official partner to the McLaren family. Racing demands precision, and hydration is a core part of that. We’re proud to offer our science-backed hydration solutions that hydrate faster than water alone to support the team, from the drivers to the pit crew to the loyal fans watching trackside or at home, as they face demanding elements such as extreme heat, travel, and high-pressure moments to perform at their best.
