MI London brings on Sokin as Principal Partner

The Hundred franchise MI London, who are co-owned by Mumbai Indians’ owners, have announced a new partnership with global business payments and finance platform, Sokin. The partnership will see Sokin become MI London’s Principal Partner for their men’s and women’s team. Sokin will have prominent branding on the front of the MI London men’s and women’s teams’ playing kit and work together on various content campaigns. The partnership will also see MI London use Sokin’s multi-currency accounts, FX, and treasury capabilities to help with their strong domestic and international payments.

Oli Slipper, Chair of MI London, commented,

“This is a really important deal for the team, and we’re pleased that Sokin will sit on the front of our brand-new shirt. Sokin’s global outlook and ambition make them a natural fit for MI London as we grow our presence in the UK and internationally. Just like our teams, Sokin are experts in their field, and we look forward to the new season with their support.”

Vroon Modgill, CEO and Founder of Sokin, added,

“MI London is the most successful team in The Hundred, and it’s part of a group that runs cricket teams from Mumbai to New York. Cricket is a global game and a growing global business, with money moving across borders for players, staff and partners in every market it touches. That’s the work our platform is built for, which is why we want to grow this beyond the shirt and across more of the MI network over time.”
