Mikael Ymer’s Sponsors, Brand Endorsements and Investments

Mikael Ymer, a Swedish tennis player of Ethiopian descent and was born on September 9, 1998. At the Australian Open in 2021, Ymer made it to the third round for the first time in his career. He did this by overcoming Carlos Alcaraz, a qualifier, and Hubert Hurkacz before falling to Stefanos Tsitsipas, the fifth seed. He made it to the third round of a Masters 1000 tournament for the very first time at the Miami Open in 2021.

The biggest win of Ymer’s career came at the 2021 French Open when he defeated world No. 15 Gaël Monfils in the second round. With this triumph, Ymer once again advanced to the third round of a major tournament, where he fell to Jannik Sinner.

Despite reaching the top 60 on January 30, 2023, he was defeated by Yoshihito Nishioka in the opening round of the 2023 Australian Open. He advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2023 Open 13 Provence before falling to the tournament’s top seed and eventual winner Hubert Hurkacz.

Babolat

Ymer has long used Babolat racquets, specifically Babolat Pure Drive. He has, however, also been spotted recently swinging a Wilson racquet. With its headquarters in Lyon, France, Babolat is a French manufacturer of tennis, badminton, and padel equipment. The firm is best known for its strings and tennis racquets, which are used by top players all over the world.
