F1 2025: 5 most valuable team title sponsors

Formula One isn’t just about speed; it’s also about money, and what that money brings to the table.

Title sponsors are the financial engines driving every successful team, plastering their names across the race cars for global visibility that’s worth hundreds of millions.

However, these deals pay not just the bills, but also fund the R&D departments, help track talent, and unlock the technology needed to win the Championships.

Keeping all that in mind, here we take a look at the five most valuable team title sponsors during the 2025 Formula One season.

#5 Stake and Sauber | US$50 million

At the end of the 2023 season, Alfa Romeo ceased its title sponsorship of the team after five years following Audi’s decision to purchase 25 per cent of the Swiss outfit.

With the German manufacturer unwilling to commit its name to the team until it purchased 75% of shares by 2026, Sauber expanded its partnership with Stake. The betting brand signed a three-year title sponsorship agreement reportedly worth US$50 million annually with Sauber ahead of the 2023 season.

Following some off-track controversies surrounding the betting company, streaming platform Kick (backed by Stake) acquired the naming rights to Sauber’s chassis for the 2024 and 2025 seasons.

#4 Petronas and Mercedes-AMG | US$75 million

Petronas has in place a long-standing title and technical sponsorship deal with the Mercedes-AMG F1 team, dating back to 2010.

The partnership, which has resulted in numerous championships for Mercedes, was extended in 2022 for a multi-year deal beyond 2026 to focus on sustainable fuel innovation for the new F1 regulations.

The Brackley-based outfit has already made numerous strides in this direction, including plans to use Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for its air travel and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO 100) biofuel for its road freight in a bid to lower its CO2 emissions on the path to being net zero carbon by 2030.

It has been previously reported by Forbes that the agreement is worth US$75 million annually.

#3 Aramco and Aston Martin | US$75 million

In 2023, Saudi Arabian oil giant Aramco was unveiled as the sole title sponsor of the Aston Martin Formula 1 motor racing team for the next five years.

As part of a deal expansion and extension between Aramco and the British F1 outfit, the oil heavyweight took on the exclusive title sponsor status from January 1, 2024.

Previously, Aramco and data technology and business service firm Cognizant were the joint title sponsors, but since January 2024 the team has been known as Aston Martin Aramco.

From 2026, Aramco will “deliver advanced fuels and lubricants” to the team, with Aston Martin bringing on board Honda as a new engine power unit partner.

Aramco is reportedly the third biggest team sponsor in F1 in 2025 through the Aston Martin partnership, which is reportedly worth around US$75 million per year.

#2 HP and Scuderia Ferrari | US$100 million

In April 2024, HP and Ferrari signed a multi-year title partnership agreement, which made HP the new title sponsor for Ferrari’s Formula 1 team, which is thusly named “Scuderia Ferrari HP”.

The deal, which kicked off at the 2024 Miami Grand Prix, entails HP tech and services being integrated into the team’s operations and prominent logo placement on the cars and other team assets.

This partnership is reportedly worth an estimated US$100 million annually.

#1 Oracle and Red Bull Racing | US$100 million

In February 2022, Red Bull Racing secured a title sponsorship valued at an estimated US$500 million over five years with tech giant Oracle.

The partnership, which led to the team being renamed “Oracle Red Bull Racing”, leverages Oracle’s cloud and AI technology to improve race strategy, engine development, and overall team performance. Oracle’s branding is also prominently featured on the team’s race cars, including the sidepods among various other team assets.

This title sponsorship is an extension of an existing partnership between the two companies that began in early 2021.
