Mumbai Indians (MI) sign PlayR as official merchandising partner

Ahead of the 2023 IPL season, the Mumbai Indians (MI) have on-boarded global sports and lifestyle brand playR as their official global replica partner. As part of the deal, playR owns the exclusive rights to manufacture and sell the official jersey, training kits and travel polo across the world.

Furthermore, playR will also be offering MI-branded merchandise, including fitness equipment (bottles, yoga mats, bags) and cricket equipment (gloves, pads, bats). It will also be selling other merchandise, such as pillows, mugs, badges, mobile rings and more.

The merchandise mentioned above will be available to fans across all retail outlets of the brand in India and beyond. Fans will also be able to purchase their merchandise online through the MIshop or the official playR website.

Talking about fan inclusion and merchandising, a Mumbai Indians spokesperson said:

As we continue to grow globally, it is imperative to build a wide range of merchandise that fans will cherish to own. We are happy to partner with playR to serve both current and new fans.”

Ravi Kukreja, Co-founder and Director of playR, expressed his intention to strengthen ties with the MI for multiple seasons:

Mumbai Indians fans will surely love the merchandise, which is carefully designed and created this season for an exceptional experience. We are happy to work with Mumbai Indians team and look forward to a great association this season and beyond.”
