New Zealand Cricket (NZC), the country’s governing body for cricket, has announced a three-year renewal of its partnership with Ford NZ.
As per the deal, the Kiwi division of the US global automobile manufacturer will remain the Official Vehicle Provider of NZC as well as hold the naming rights for the domestic 50-over men’s event, the Ford Trophy.
The two first teamed up back in 2009. The new renewal reflects a “shared commitment to excellence and community.”
Scott Weenink, Chief Executive, New Zealand Cricket, commented:
“Ford’s unwavering support has been integral to NZC’s success, and we’re delighted to continue this partnership. Their commitment to our national and domestic teams drives us forward, and we look forward to achieving more together.“
Glenn Critchley, Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer, New Zealand Cricket, said:
“We’re proud to extend our partnership with Ford, a true supporter of New Zealand cricket at all levels. This renewal marks another milestone in our shared passion for the game.“
Mathew Slade, Marketing Director, Ford New Zealand, added:
“Ford is happy to announce we’ve re-signed to support NZC for a three-year agreement. This reflects the great relationship we’ve had over the years, our commitment to NZC, and our support for New Zealand sport. It certainly also reflects the fact that we’re some of the biggest fans.“
